Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert News: 'Somethin' Bad' Singer Talks What She Does To Stay 'Healthy' & Her 'Thanksgiving Tradition' With 'Neon Light' Husband [VIDEO]
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert aren't just peers in this country music industry, the married couple also work on an even playing field when cooking dinner.
Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Are Happy Being 'Aunt' & 'Uncle'
"Blake taught me how to bow-hunt when we first started dating," explained Lambert in the November issue of Food & Wine. "Our Thanksgiving tradition is to shoot our own wild turkey and fry it."
Lambert's dramatic weight loss has been a major topic of discussion this year, but the Somethin' Bad singer claims she just tries to keep things balanced. She begins each morning with fresh juice, which she also brings on tour with her to keep from snacking on the bus. "That way I feel like I've been healthy for the day, even if I make bad decisions later."

Lambert does like to indulge on occasion, claiming she only likes vegetables with "ranch dressing or cheese on them" and is also a fan of fried food.
"I play at Joe's Bar in Chicago a lot and the owner opened up a barbecue place called Bub City," she noted. "It has fried pickers, so I automatically love it."
When it comes to cooking at her home in Tishomingo, Okla., Lambert and Shelton have decided their own system. She is "the sides girl" who puts together all the individual dishes while her husband is the "grilling and smoking master."
Back in 2013 Lambert denied claims that her weight loss was attributed to surgery.
"Though I NEVER care what the tabloids say about me…I wanted to address this certain story they are running this week and set the record straight," declared Lambert in a statement on her website Nov. 25, 2013. "I DID NOT have surgery to lose weight. That is ridiculous. I lost weight the good old fashioned away. Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer.
"I am proud to be a normal size girl," she added, "And want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size."
