Drake New Song 2014; 'How About Now' Leaks From Upcoming Album 'Views From the 6', Fans Respond on Twitter [PHOTOS] [LYRICS]
Canada's very own actor-turned-rap phenom had a busy weekend. While many attended homecomings or enjoyed the fall October weather, he played basketball and a new song of his was leaked causing Twitter to erupt with a new swarm of Drake jokes and quotes.
Drake, Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole? Which Rapper Would You Want to Be Friends With?
First, Drake's new song "How About Now" is very, well... Drake. In the beginning of the Jodeci, "My Heart Belongs to You", sampled song, a girl's voice is heard informing the 27-year-old rapper that "he's changed." Then, he goes on to reminisce over the days he and his former flame were dating, but he could tell she was not truly interested in him. He raps, "Remember when you had to take the bar exam/I drove in the snow for you/You probably don't remember half the sh-t a n-ga did for you/ You ain't really f-k me way back then girl/How about now?"
Drake’s up and coming album, “Views from the 6” has no release date but this is second leak from his highly anticipated project. The first leak happened in August, and gave a preview of the title track, which is seemingly about his on-and-off relationship with fellow artist, Rihanna.
The first official single, “O to 100/The Catch Up” briefly mentioned that something big is supposed to drop in the Spring of 2015, but at this point, fans are ready for his new work and whoever keeps leaking the music may be subliminally pushing for a sooner release date, too.
