Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes Split: Rachel McAdams Stuns At Canadian Walk of Fame, Shows She Has No Intentions Of Reuniting With Former Boyfriend? [PHOTOS]
Fans are always hopeful for a Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams reunion, but neither of the former lovers appears to be hinting they'd be interested in a rekindled romance anytime soon.
Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes' Baby Name Revealed
While Gosling has been adjusting to life as a new father to one-month old Esmeralda Amada, his daughter with girlfriend of three years Eva Mendes, McAdams has been busy with her career-though she did manage to take some time off recently to appear at the 2014 Canadian Walk of Fame induction ceremony-where the actress received a spot for her work.
She and actor Ryan Reynolds both appeared at the October 18 ceremony in Toronto, and as the two cozied up together on the yellow carpet, McAdams appeared to show that the single life has been good to her-appearing stunning in both a black and white Zuhair Murad Couture gown with a sweeping train and vintage Kwiat jewels for the red carpet portion of the evening, and a crimson one-shoulder Romona Keveza column dress for later in the evening.
Rachel McAdams Reacts To News Ryan Gosling Is Officially A Father
The actress not only looked stunning at the event, but she also appeared extremely happy-a sharp contrast to how she's been portrayed in news reports since news broke that her ex, Gosling, was expecting a baby with Mendes in July.
At the time, several outlets reported she was devastated by the news because she and Gosling had split in 2008 due to differing views on having children at the time-making news that he was about to become a father with his new girlfriend exceptionally painful.
Adding to recent news about Gosling's new baby, he and McAdams' former Notebook co-star James Marsden, who is currently starring in the latest Sparks adaptation The Best of Me, has spoken up about the chemistry the couple had on-screen-saying it was what everyone wanted to see.
"It's what the movie lives or dies by, and you have to be like Ryan and Rachel in The Notebook because they had incredibly passionate, real, visceral, and loving chemistry, and that's what everybody wants to see. They want to believe in a love story," Marsden told Pop Sugar ahead of his film's release. "You're asking the audience to invest in these characters and you want to fantasize about having that kind of love, and their chemistry just kind of jumped off the screen and...it's vital, it's probably the most important thing."
