The 29-year-old Georgia native announced on the Bobby Bones Show Tuesday that he's going to marry the woman who inspired his 2011 tune You Don't Know Her Like I Do and 2012's More Than Miles.
"I can't forget, I'm drowning in these memories. It fills my soul with all the little things and I can't cope. It's like a death inside the family. It's like she stole my way to breathe. So don't try to tell me I'll stop hurting," he sings on the former.

Gilbert and the local school teacher, who have known each other for 10 years, plan to tie the knot next June.
"It was one of those things that was on and off for few years - mostly on - and then she was the one that got away for about five years," he told the country radio program in the midst of his "Let It Ride" tour. "And it kind of came back around and I can honestly say I've never been happier. This little one, she's the one, and I'm a pretty stoked dude. I'm pretty excited to say the least."
The Bottoms Up singer added, "She's a hometown girl... It's an awesome thing."
This is the second engagement for Gilbert, who popped the question to fellow singer Jana Kramer in January 2013. The two split up in August of that year.
