The Powerball Jackpot for Saturday night's draw has increased to a massive $181 million after no one scored the win in Wednesday's draw.

The Powerball Jackpot has been increasingly rapidly as multiple draws have passed without any winner being named.

No one has won the Powerball jackpot since the draw that took place on June 23. At that time a Seymour, Conn. couple took home a huge $60 million prize.

There was a ticket buying frenzy in the build up to Wednesday's draw, but no one was able to match all the winning numbers. Wednesday's draw resulted in the numbers: 3, 14, 48, 56 and 58 with a Powerball number of 4.

It is believed that Saturday's draw will have a cash value of $123 million and will be sure to get a higher than usual turnout from those purchasing tickets on Friday and Saturday prior to the draw.

However, Wednesday's draw did see a number of tickets that matched five numbers but not the Powerball number. Those tickets were sold in Illinois, New York, Louisiana, Colorado and South Carolina. If you are one of the lucky people to have one of those tickets you will be collecting a cool $ 1 million minus what the tax man takes.

Another ticket from Wednesday also matched four numbers and the Powerball. That ticket was reportedly sold in New Jersey and will see the owner pick up $10,000.

To purchase your Powerball ticket see your local retailer, and make sure you do not leave it too late to pick your numbers. You never know!
