The SVU episode was about a female college student who gets sexually assaulted when it's discovered that she was doing porn to pay for her tuition- a choice that Knox made for herself as she attends Duke University.

The day the episode aired, Knox took to XO Jane to dish on the plot of this story as well as some personal details that she's been through, including a rape.

"I don't write or discuss my rape often because I don't want to be viewed as a porn star cliché, nor do I want people telling me that this is why I've made the choices I've made, but I know well the chilling rape culture entitlement that comes along with men discovering that I'm a porn star," Knox revealed.

The SVU episode has a scene where one of the rapists says, "I didn't you think you could rape a girl like that," something that Knox has heard in real life, but with different words and actions. She also talked about how her dating life has changed since it's been known that she stars in X-Rated films.

"There have been times when a man has told me quickly, easily and creepily, 'You like this [sexual act], right?' without asking for consent or having any discussion to imply that we might make the decision to be intimate together later on," the actress wrote.
