In a new interview with People on Thursday, Duggar says that while she still hasn't given birth to her first child yet, she's open to having as many children as she possibly can.
Duggar said, "We're open to as many children as God will give us. We believe children are a blessing from the Lord and a gift from him."

Dillard added, "We've talked about adopting, too. My mom was adopted."
Duggar added that this pregnancy is especially important for her mother-in-law as well.
She explained, "Yeah, that was something neat too when we found out we were pregnant because this will be only her third blood relative that she knows. She had two sons and now her grandson."
As far as her pregnancy cravings, Duggar says that she's not eating anything out of the ordinary.
"I seem to be following my mom in that, like the dill pickle thing," Duggar told the mag. "In my first trimester it was everything cold... because I had nausea. And then I just wanted everything salty, sour, cold."
Duggar, who married her husband back in June in front of 1,000 of their closest friends and family, is expected to give birth in March 2015.
