The 24-year-old personally invited 89 fans to join her for a Secret Session with iHeartRadio to commemorate the release of her latest album, 1989.
Of course she performed her tribute to the Big Apple – "Welcome to New York." Swift, who wore a white crop top and matching skirt, followed the anthem with "Out of the Woods," "Style," "Blank Space" and "Shake it Off."

Swift also made sure to take photos with her devoted fans. She shared a photo on Instagram with the caption, “Meeting everyone after the rooftop Secret Sessions and taking weird pictures = the greatest joy of my life.”
Swift was beaming during the performances and she had every reason to be. Her fifth album received an overwhelming amount of positive reviews from critics. New York Times critic Jon Caramanica said, “On this new stage, Ms. Swift is thriving. And crucially, she is more or less alone, not part of any pop movement of the day. She has set herself apart and, implicitly, above."
The album, released on Monday, is also expected to sell the most out of all the ones released in 2014. Despite its online leak prior to release, 1989 could sell 900,000 copies in its first week, Billboard reported.
