Carrie Underwood Talks CMA Awards & 'Naked' Photos
Underwood's talk of scary movies isn't just for show. The singer's husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, revealed in a 2012 interview with The Tennessean that the country darling is in fact a major horror fan.
"She [Underwood] grew up on horror movies, believe it or not," admitted Fisher. "She likes as gory as it gets, and all that stuff… She never covers her eyes. That would be me."
Underwood's low-key weekend will help her prepare for the CMA Awards this Wednesday, where she will be serving as host with fellow country artist Brad Paisley for the seventh year in a row. While the singer is considered an old pro when it comes to the CMA Awards, it will be her first time leading the event while pregnant, which will undoubtably influence some of this year's jokes.
The 48th Annual CMA Awards air live on ABC Wednesday, November 5 at 8 p.m.
