Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney apparently kept her Halloween costume a little simple this year except with an accessory that shows some style.

On Friday, the gold medal winner took to Instagram to post a picture of herself in a dark T-shirt as she dons black cat ears on her head. She looks to the side as her hair falls over her face, showing off her elegant complexion.
She captioned the picture with a simple "HAPPY HALLOWEEN."

Most of Maroney's Instagram photos are random selfies while others show her latest images with Adidas. During this shoot, she mentioned how she enjoys being inspirational on her social media pages.
"It's great to be able to motivate people by posting little inspirational mantras, but I also like to have fun with social media," she said. "It's definitely one of the most important things in my life- to have that connection with my friends and fans. That's my chance to let people learn a little bit more about who I am."
Even though gymnastics is a big part of Maroney's life, there are other goals that she plans to accomplish.
"I'm currently training for the next Olympics. I'm in the gym 24/7- it's really enjoyable but at the end of the day, I also think about the bigger picture," she said. "I really want to act and sing later in life so I've been taking those kinds of classes. I have lots of different goals and dreams- winning the Olympics was just one of them."
