On Sunday, the gymnast posted a Vine video of herself on Twitter where she sings a lyric from the song "To Love Somebody" by Michael Buble. The short clip cuts off Maroney's eyes where her mouth is visible and she lets out her singing techniques.

Later that day, Maroney added another Vine video of herself singing except this time it's "Be My Baby" by Ariana Grande. Her range is fairly high as she brings a new kind of talent that some probably didn't know she had.

The gymnast mentioned in an interview with Adidas that she had plans to sing later in life.

"I'm currently training for the next Olympics. I'm in the gym 24/7- it's really enjoyable but at the end of the day, I also think about the bigger picture," she said. "I really want to act and sing later in life so I've been taking those kinds of classes. I have lots of different goals and dreams- winning the Olympics was just one of them."

Maroney also talked about how much she enjoys sending out positive vibes on her social media pages.

"It's great to be able to motivate people by posting little inspirational mantras, but I also like to have fun with social media," she said. "It's definitely one of the most important things in my life- to have that connection with friends and fans. That's my chance to let people learn a little bit more about who I am."
