Jamie Dornan may play the lead in the upcoming racy film Fifty Shades of Grey, but the actor isn't baring it all.

"There were contracts in place that said that viewers wouldn't be seeing my, um... Yeah, my todger," Dornan told The Guardian's Observer. "You want to appeal to as wide an audience as possible without grossing them out. You don't want to make something gratuitous, and ugly, and graphic."
The Northern Irish actor stars as Christian Grey with Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele, in the highly anticipated adaptation of E L James' erotic novel of the same name. While Dornan isn't going full frontal, there will of course be several risqué scenes. And, for the fans who are wondering - sex scenes aren't that exciting for actors.

"Anyone who thinks actors get turned on doing sex scenes in films is mistaken. There are dozens of hairy men standing around, moving cables and lighting equipment. That's not sexy unless you're into being watched, which I'm not," Dornan said.
The 32-year-old also spoke about the opposition he's faced from some fans who don't think he is well suited for the movie coming to theaters next Valentine's Day.
"I am never going to please all 100 million people who read the book," Dornan said. "I'll be lucky if half that number are happy with me playing Christian Grey. I know there are campaigns of hate against me already."
