1) Google can help you find a polling location
The search engine has a handy pop-up tool that is available today that users can type their address and get sent to locations around them that they can vote at. This device can be found by searching "where can I vote?" or "when do polls open?" The tool can be used on mobile devices as well.

2) Less than half of eligible voters are expected to come out today
As of right now, predictions have between 39 and 42-percent of eligible Americans voting today and they attribute it to a lack of voter excitement. The recent campaign through social media though has created a groundswell of younger voters and turnout is hopefully going to grow with the addition of some newer participants.
3) Fun fact: November and Tuesday were selected for a reason
Did you know that November was picked to host election day because it was the month that harvest work was completed and gave people more time to come out to vote? It also was selected to do on Tuesday because it gave people time to come out to the polls. They couldn't do it on Monday because some people couldn't travel on Sunday for religious reasons.
4) Fun fact: It has to be later in the month for a specific reason.
They selected to not have Election Day on the first of the month because a lot of shopkeepers at that time would do their books for the preceding month on the first and they didn't want them to have to put off that work.
5) Don't forget to vote!
While there may not be harvesting in your way, it is much easier to vote now than ever before. So use the Google tool and find where a poll is nearest you! Remember that Leslie Knope would want you to.
