They're one of the most popular retailers on Black Friday each year, and Wal-Mart could be making plans to also be one of the earliest to begin their huge sales.

According to new reports, the discount retailer could be making plans to have a nearly-48-hour sale for Black Friday, the first time in the company's history that they would be considering a move, by opening their doors to deals starting at 6 a.m. Thanksgiving Morning.

If they were to do so, they would be the second retailer to make such a shocking move, as Kmart stores will be starting their Black Friday deals at the early Thanksgiving Morning hour for the second year in a row. Wal-Mart stores have been open on Thanksgiving Day for years, but the company has not ever offered their Black Friday sales earlier than 6 p.m., which was when they began their first sales event in 2013.

Wal-Mart Teases Biggest Black Friday Sale Ever

Wal-Mart has not yet officially announced their plans for Thanksgiving or Black Friday themselves, though the company began releasing discounts similar to those found usually on the holiday weekend as early as Nov. 1 online.

While Wal-Mart shoppers wait for official word on their deals however, those who prefer other retailers are learning of several other retailers Black Friday plans, with Staples Office Supply stores becoming the next official company to announce that their stores will be opening at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Night, following department stores including Macy's, Sears and Kohl's, as well as JC Penney, which will open at 5 p.m.

As part of their attempt to lure shoppers with impressive deals, Staples has also announced five of their hugest planned deals for the major shopping event, which include:

1. A $99.99 Asus laptop with Intel Processor

2. Free Kindle e-Reader after a rebate with the purchase of any laptop over $399.

3. $39.99 jLab 8 GB 7-inch Android tablet
