'American Horror Story' Season 5 Cast: Should Finn Wittrock & John Carroll Lynch Star In Future Installments? [POLL, VIDEO]
FX's American Horror Story is more popular than ever before, with an all star cast that keeps growing stronger, but who should return for Season 5 next year?

With five episodes having aired of American Horror Story: Freak Show, it is starting to become clear who the biggest standouts are so far. Perhaps the biggest discovery of the year has been Finn Wittrock, who plays petulant man-child turned psycho killer Dandy Mott. Wittrock joined the show this year and based on reactions from Twitter and Facebook, it seems he might be locked in to star in Season 5 too.
John Carroll Lynch was also very memorable as Twisty the Clown, pulling off a sad vulnerability to his character and making a clown killer into one of the more relatable characters in Freak Show.

Michael Chiklis hasn't had that many standout scenes so far other than his moment at the gay bar with Andy (guest star Matt Bomer), his security boyfriend. The Emmy winning actor is likely to show his chops more as the season goes on, potentially proving his worth to be invited for Season 5.
As always, the performances of Sarah Paulson (Dot and Bette), Evan Peters (Jimmy), Kathy Bates (Ethel), Angela Bassett (Desiree), Frances Conroy (Gloria) are strong in Freak Show and each of them will likely be back as long as Ryan Murphy and company write good characters for them.
Star of the show Jessica Lange (Elsa) won't be back for future seasons of AHS so someone is going to have to step up and lead the huge ensemble cast for Season 5. Will it be Paulson, Bates or Bassett or could a new actress (or actor) take the lead of the series for Season 5?
American Horror Story: Freak Show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
