Angela Bassett, who plays the voluptuous Desiree Dupree on FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show, recently discussed the new revelation that all of the seasons are interconnected.

Bassett plays a three-breasted hermaphrodite on Freak Show and while her Coven character Marie Laveau is even more over the top, she does not see much of a connection between them. When toofab asked Bassett if she had considered the connection between Marie and Desiree, she said she hadn't.

"Not one, nor have I considered it," she said, laughing. "The only connection I was able to make is Pepper from Season 2 to Season 4, but no I haven't thought about that but it gives me something to thought about. Sounds like a great college term paper to me!"

Should Finn Wittrock & John Carroll Lynch Star In 'American Horror Story' Next Year?

American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy previously revealed that all of the seasons are interconnected, which was first made clear with the appearance of Pepper in Freak Show.

This season featured a killer clown in the form of Twisty (John Carroll Lynch), but Bassett said that there are several real clowns behind the scenes while filming.

"Sarah Paulson can make me laugh really easy and so can Gaby [Sidibe] when she's around," Bassett admitted. "I haven't had the opportunity to spend any time with her this year. But Sarah's pretty funny to me and Michael [Chiklis] is lighthearted and Emma [Roberts] is pretty crazy. Last night, it was she and I til midnight outdoors in the cold and she was pretty funny."

American Horror Story: Freak Show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
