Ryan Gosling News: Five Things We Love About The ‘Nice Guys’ Actor On His 34th Birthday [VIDEO]
He may have broken fans hearts earlier this year by officially becoming a father with girlfriend Eva Mendes, but Ryan Gosling is still one of the hottest actors in Hollywood.
Is Eva Mendes Designing A Line Of Bridesmaids Dresses To Prepare For Her Own Wedding?
The new father turns 34 today (ironically, it's the same date his new baby girl, Esmeralda Amada turns 2 months), and even though many are still sad that he seems to truly be devoted to his relationship with Mendes, he still knows how to make his fans hearts skip a couple of beats, and as a result, he does deserve a genuine wish for a happy birthday.
Gosling's been in the acting game for a while, but officially began stealing fans' hearts ten years ago when he starred opposite Rachel McAdams in The Notebook-and though it's been a decade since he was Noah Calhoun, fans are still madly in love with him. With that in mind, Enstars rounded up our five favorite things about the actor to celebrate his birthday. Happy 34th Ryan!
1. It's hard to dispute the fact that he is one of the hottest actors in Hollywood
And he's not only attractive when he's walking down the street fully clothed. When his shirt comes off it can make any girl swoon. (Seriously, we can't help but agree with Emma Stone's character in Crazy, Stupid Love. He HAS to be photoshopped right?)
2. He inspired a whole new way of flirting with 'Hey girl" memes
Never have otherwise cheesy pick-up lines ever been as adorable as they are when fans put them over cute pics of Gosling. But the best part is, he's modest about them.
3. Sure he's good looking...but he actually has some serious depth as an actor and isn't just a pretty face
Fans may have gotten to know him best with that iconic Noah Calhoun role, and sure, he played a great love interest in Crazy, Stupid Love. But Gosling has also surprised with a slew of deeper and more meaningful roles showcasing a wide variety of different characters over the years in The Place Beyond The Pines, The Ides of March, Blue Valentine, Lars and the Real Girl, Drive, Fracture and Half Nelson. And he's obviously doing something right, because he picked up an Oscar nomination for Half Nelson.
4. Even though he's had some high-profile romances, he never has a bad word to say about his exes
So many relationships in Hollywood seem to end badly, and the parties involved sometimes seem as if they can't even be in the same room ever again-and on occasion, still have negative things to say about one another. But Gosling? Nope, he still had amazing things to say about both Sandra Bullock and Rachel McAdams long after he stopped dating them both. A guy who can still talk about his ex-girlfriends so nicely has an incredible level of maturity.
5. He's only been a dad for two months-and he's already one of the cutest ones out there
Though both he and Eva Mendes have reportedly been excited to become parents, eventually the two did need to start getting back to work. Gosling's newest work commitment, The Nice Guys, required him to head across the country while his daughter and girlfriend remained behind in L.A. But he hasn't let distance take its toll and has reportedly been Facetiming his little girl several times a day to see how she is. Cutest. Dad. Ever.
