Carrie Underwood's red carpet outfits have made headlines this month for their elegance, but on Thursday the pregnant country star showed of a very different side to dressing her baby bump.

The Something In The Water singer was busy this week performing for HBO's Concert for Valor, but it looks like the star still got some relaxation in at home with her little dogs, Ace and Penny.
In fact, Underwood shared a photo on Twitter Thursday in which she was was able to kick up her feet and take it easy. In the photo Underwood wore a pair of blue sweats with a gold and black shirt as one of her pups got cozied up to her pregnant belly.

Ace and Penny, whom Underwood has treated as her own children for years now, will certainly have a lot to get used to when the baby arrives this spring. Their human little brother will be something new for the dogs, who did not grow up around children. Underwood frequently totes her dogs around on tour and even had them partake in the statement she posted on Twitter in which she announced her pregnancy on Sept. 1. In the picture Underwood held on to her little dogs, who were wearing "I'm Going To Be A Big Brother" and "I'm Going To Be A Big Sister" shirts.
On Nov. 5 the singer hosted the 28th Annual CMA Awards with Brad Paisley, who let it slip that Underwood is expecting a boy. This will be the first child for Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators.
