Emma (Jennifer Morrison) may be looking to rid herself of her magical powers on ABC's Once Upon a Time but part of the reason may be due to her perception of herself.

While Emma enlists in Rumplestiltskin's (Robert Carlyle) help in order to get rid of her powers (and subsequently thwart The Snow Queen's plans) during the next episode of Once Upon a Time, the pair will be sharing a significant moment.

"Emma sees herself as a villain because she feels like she's made so many mistakes in her life and she's always trying to redeem the mistakes that she's made," Morrison told Entertainment Weekly this week. "Gold can only see her as a hero. The fact that he sees her as a hero in the way that he does is really impacting to her to hear him say that. Those words are really powerful to her."

Josh Dallas (Charming) added that getting rid of her powers might be "the best thing for her, to get rid of all of this burden that she seems to have that she carries the world on her shoulder. Maybe she can just be normal and she doesn't have to be the savior."

Meanwhile, the Snow Queen is just desperate to have that sisterly love from Emma and Elsa (Georgina Haig), but it looks like neither of them are interest. It remains to be seen if the Snow Queen will ultimately be defeated in the two-hour episode that airs Sunday, starting at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
