It looks like Dancing With the Stars frontrunner Alfonso Ribeiro and his pro partner Witney Carson might be good to go for Monday's episode after an injury threatened to take him out of the competition.

Ribeiro injured his back on Wednesday during rehearsals while trying to compensate for a previous groin injury he suffered on the show. Doctors had given him through the weekend to decide whether or not to pull him from DWTS, based on the severity of the injury.

As of Monday there has not been any announcement revealing that Ribeiro is leaving the competition, so it is suggested that he will indeed go on in the season, competing in Monday night's semifinals.

Ribeiro's last message on Twitter was on Saturday, in which he revealed he was still hoping to dance.

"Hey #TeamWitfonso thanks 4 all the love," he tweeted. "I'm working really hard to be able to dance Monday. Keep the prayers coming. Love you all."

This prompted his followers to tell the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor that they were indeed praying for him and giving him well wishes.

Ribeiro and Carson are slated to dance twice Monday night as part of Plugged/Unplugged night, in which the pairs dance to the regular version of a song for their first dance and then dance to an acoustic version of the same song for their second. They are dancing to Love Runs Out by One Republic, performing the Argentine Tango for their "Plugged" dance and Contemporary for their "Unplugged" dance.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
