It was reported earlier Wednesday on TMZ that Manning was arrested after reaching out to a former friend Jeanine Heller, with whom she has a mutual domestic restraining order.

Manning apparently sent her threatening text messages that included "I will kill you, b----," "Go f--- yourself and die" and "What's taking so long? Shouldn't you be dead by now?"

She was reportedly arrested after she failed to show up in court, and the judge cited her for contempt.

Now, Manning's lawyer has reached out and said that the arrest has since been voided.

"The District Attorney declined to prosecute Ms. Manning and the arrest was voided," Manning's lawyer said. "The allegation was false. It is unfortunate that additional false allegations by an individual convicted of violating orders of protection intended to protect Ms. Manning are facilitated by purported news organizations to perpetuate the harassment of Ms. Manning exponentially."

However, NYPD is telling a different story. The department told TMZ that Manning's arrest had not in fact been voided.

Manning and Heller have a troubled history, with the former being arrested on multiple occasions for violating the restraining order.

Manning is continuing to star in Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, where she is a series regular as religious zealot Pennsatucky.

Orange Is the New Black returns for Season 3 in mid-2015.
