Blake Shelton told wife and fellow country artist Miranda Lambert that there's another woman in his life on Thursday and it seems the Somethin' Bad singer had a pretty intense reaction to it.

Miranda Lambert Dives Into Charity Work

Shelton, often prone to cracking jokes on Twitter, posted a statement on Thursday about friend and guest mentor for NBC's The Voice, Taylor Swift.

Swift is famous for writing songs about her ex boyfriends, and so Shelton's joke hit fans on a number of levels.

Some followers urged the singer proceed with caution, half-joking and half-serious in telling Shelton that such a comment could easily be misconstrued and result in more vicious divorce rumors.

Shelton and Lambert have faced a number of split rumors over the last few years, none of which have ultimately proven to be true. The most recent surfaced only last week, though both singers seem too busy to take notice.

Shelton is still promoting his latest album, Bringing Back the Sunshine. Lambert's most recent release, Platinum, came out in June, and while her tour has died down she is still heavily involved with charity work this month.
