Ryan Reynolds is looking forward to becoming a first-time dad and he's ready for everything, including diaper duty.

"I don't have a weak stomach," he told People in a new interview. "I'm good with diapers and diarrhea and all that kind of stuff because I have lots of nieces and nephews, so I've done it all before."
The 38-year-old and his wife Blake Lively, 27, are expecting their first baby together early next year. The Change-Up actor also revealed which part of parenting he's most thrilled about.

"I'm just excited about having a buddy," he said. "We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet, but whatever it is, you have this tether to reality that never goes away."
The couple, who met on the set of the Green Lantern, tied the knot in 2012. They announced their pregnancy in October via Lively's lifestyle website, Preserve. The former Gossip Girl star, who announced the news along with a beautiful photo of her baby bump taken by her brother Eric Lively, recently gushed about the father-to-be.
"He's going to be a great father and leader and patriarch - he's so meant to be all of those things," Lively told Vogue in the August issue."The fact that he lived so much before we got together, he's the exact realized person that he should be. And so I get to share my life with the person he's become, and we get to grow from there."
