Here are 5 polarizing things to avoid at Thanksgiving dinner:

1. Bill Cosby

As we all know, Bill Cosby is under fire right now for various accusations of sexual assault by over a dozen women. But, at one of his recent shows in Florida, his fans protested in support of the television powerhouse- many of whom were older and were fans of him in his peak- before and after his performance. So, in an effort to avoid upsetting your grandma or great aunt, save your opinions for another time.

2. Ebola

IT'S OVER. No really, there are no cases left in America so don't wear a mask to your Thanksgiving feast. It was never that big of a deal in the first place. Plus, scientists are working on a promising vaccine.

3. ISIS

It is probably the easiest way to scare someone out of having an appetite. No need to discuss terror before you dig in to your mashed potatoes.

4. Religious Beliefs

Depending on how passionate a person is about their spirituality or their choice not to be, the conversation about religion has the potential to go south very fast. 0 to 100, all Drake.

5. Who or What's "Right" in the Ferguson Decision

America just watched the events and outcome of a murder that was not prosecuted. People are still protesting, they are upset, disgusted and ready to do something. There are several issues that deserve national attention and that should be discussed. But, please be prepared to find out who people really are. If you want peace, it should be avoided.

Have a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving.
