USA vs. France Live Stream: Watch Online Women's Basketball Final at London 2012 Olympics (Time 4PM)
USA vs. France takes place in the women's basketball final on Saturday at the London 2012 Olympics. Team USA are overwhelming favorites not only to win the tie but to heavily defeat the French. The game will tip off at 9 p.m. London time (4 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream (see link below).
The U.S. women's basketball team has won 40 straight games at the Olympics in a row, and have won four consecutive gold medals in the event. They are big favorites today against France to make that 41 wins in a row and a fifth gold medal in a row. If that result does play out it will evidence Team USA's dominance of the women's basketball event for an amazing two decades.
However, France will put up resistance and will hope to cause a stunning upset. France too are undefeated in this 2012 tournament going into the final, and will be hoping to take their run one further.
Team USA have won their games by an average of 34 points in London and have barely broken sweat in some games. At times sides have been embarrassingly inferior to the American team, and most neutrals will be hoping for a closer game in today's gold medal game.
USA star player Candace Parker touched on America's dominance to the LA Times.
"We know we have a standard to uphold, and [we want to] honor the past Olympians and be role models for the future ones," she explained.
