Leah Calvert Focuses On Friends After Jeremy's Reported Divorce Filing
Days after Jeremy reportedly filed for divorce, the Teen Mom 2 star took to Twitter, where she appeared to hint that she may be ready to move on from her marriage.
"Sometimes you just need to distance yourself from people," she wrote on Friday. "If they care, they'll notice. If they don't, you know where you stand."
'Teen Mom 2' Star Leah Calvert's Husband Jeremy Tells Twitter Fans He's 'Done'
Leah and Jeremy got married in April 2012 and have one daughter together. They also co-parent Leah's twin girls with Corey Simms, Ali and Aleeah.
On Tuesday, In Touch Weekly claimed a source revealed Jeremy had filed for divorce. "They’ve been having problems for a while now, and Leah cheating in October was the final straw,” a friend told the magazine. “She always thought she’d be able to win him back. The fact that she can’t has made her a total mess. She’s hit rock bottom. Leah wronged Jeremy and now she’s begging for his forgiveness, but he’s totally done with her.”
A short time after Jeremy revealed on Twitter that Leah had allegedly cheated on him with Robbie Kidd, rumors hit the web, claiming Leah was abusing prescription pills. In a second In Touch Weekly report, a person claiming to be Leah's drug dealer spoke out, stating they have given the reality star 30 to 40 pills at a time.
“I’ve seen Leah pop a handful of pills, chew them like they were candy and swallow them. She doesn’t even need anything to wash them down with,” a family insider added to the magazine. “But it’s [actually] the pain from withdrawal that bothers her, not her back. She can’t go a day without opiates.”
Last week, Leah took to Twitter, where she announced she would not be returning to Teen Mom 2 for a sixth season.
