On Friday as shoppers flocked to stores with the hope of scoring major holiday deals, the Something In The Water singer stayed home. On Twitter she declared that Black Friday "scares" her and that she very much prefers online shopping to the madness that ensues the day after Thanksgiving.

Apparently fans agreed, with over 8,000 favoriting the message and over 2,000 reposting it. Many responded by saying that they too preferred online shopping and that they don't blame the star for preferring to stay in. Some even agreed that they too would be shopping online.

Even if Underwood did want to hit the stores, Black Friday can get aggressive and which would be dangerous especially considering that the singer is pregnant.

On September 1 Underwood and husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, announced that they are expecting their first child together. The singer is expected to give birth sometime in the spring, though they couple has elected to keep the due date a secret for the time being.

Underwood's latest album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, hits stores on Dec. 9.
