The couple has put on several loving displays of affection since they began dating in 2013, and are even scheduled to showcase their blissful life as newlyweds on a new show on A&E next year, titled Donnie Loves Jenny-a move the couple may be receiving warnings about from other celebrities whose marriages fell apart after they did their own reality TV shows.
Jessica Simpson is allegedly one of the celebs who has tried to reach out to the two to give them a cautionary tale about letting their marriage unfold in front of the cameras, though the pair, who married in St. Charles, Illinois on Aug. 31, still seem to be onboard with the idea for a show.
The show is set to kick off with a one-hour series premiere devoted to their actual wedding day, and will then kick off nine additional 30-minute episodes showcasing them as they adjust to married life for the second time in their lives.
The couple also released a joint statement at the time about how excited they were for their new reality show venture together, saying "Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A&E network."
"We're so excited this deal and look forward to a long and successful relationship creating entertaining and provocative unscripted programming with our partners at A&E," they continued. "Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together."
