"We brought the magic of halftime to...Texas, exactly halfway across the United States, as a thank you to a few thousand military veterans, their families, and those who support them," declared Shelton during a voiceover, which then cut to a montage of fireworks and cheating veterans as the singer gave a live performance aboard the USS Lexington.

"Thank you to all the veterans everywhere from me, from Pepsi, and from America," called out the singer to the cheering veterans and their families, who enjoyed dancing and singing along to the music.

While the ad was certainly heavy on the Pepsi promotion, it did give the singer a chance to thanks the veterans for their service.

Shelton declared the show quite an experience on Twitter Friday, thanking veterans again for everything they have done for the country.

Shelton celebrated the release of his latest album, Brining Back the Sunshine, on Sept. 30 and this Tuesday night he will support his wife and fellow artist, Miranda Lambert, as she's honored at the CMT Artists of The Year ceremony.
