Todd Tucker, husband of Bravo's The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss has taken to his Instagram to announce shocking and tragic news of his mother's, Miss Sharon's, passing.

He disclosed the news Monday evening and shared a picture of him and his mom.
He wrote in the caption, "Today I lost my partner, my ride or die my best friend! I don't know what to do? I'm lost! My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She's in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace!"

Burruss also shared the loss on Instagram and revealed that she was "in shock" after losing "the best mother-in-law". She revealed that the passing was truly unexpected. "Today has been a tough day. Our family has suffered a terrible loss. Sharon was the best mother in-law! She was fun, energetic, loving, & caring. It's unbelievable that she's gone. I'm so sad for @todd167 because they were so close... He talked to her every morning & all thru out the day, every day. It's hard losing people that you love but when it's out of the blue with no warning it just makes it that much harder.... I'm still in shock."

Fans of the show got to know Sharon when she made several appearances on Bravo's spinoff series Kandi's Wedding. The show followed Burruss and Tucker as they prepared to say their "I dos" earlier this year. According to TMZ she suffered a stroke in New York City Monday. She went into a coma into the early hours of Tuesday morning before she passed. Burruss and Tucker were said to have been with her in her final moments.
