With the end of the year quickly approaching, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres shared some of her and Portia de Rossi's most memorable moments of 2014.

During Thursday's show, DeGeneres talked about holiday cards and why sometimes they can be a little annoying to read.

DeGeneres started off by asking her audience if they sent out holiday letters and she then added that holiday letters can be very annoying because usually people brag too much, over exaggerate or try and make themselves seem better than they actually are.

Of course in DeGeneres fashion, the talk show host continued by admitting that she did exactly that in her holiday letter and her audience immediately burst into laughter.

The talk show host began reading her card, which highlighted some of her and de Rossi's accomplishments this year.

DeGeneres said that this year has been wonderful and then she proceeded to talk about hosting the 2014 Academy Awards, her wife starring in the ABC hit show Scandal, and some of the other memorable events she and her wife experienced.

"Luckily Portia and I don't have any kids to tell you about, although according to the tabloids we've been pregnant 16 times alone this year," DeGeneres joked. "We do have two beautiful nieces and they're getting so big, they're about the size of a bobcat and a Dalmatian, respectively."

It's no secret that the lovebirds have made headlines lately after rumors of divorce took over the internet earlier this year, but it's evident that couple will definitely be standing underneath the mistletoe this holiday season.

On Monday the dynamic duo celebrated a decade together and by the look of the make-up free selfies they shared, it doesn't look like they could be more in love.
