It's no secret that talk show host Ellen DeGeneres believes in giving back and helping others who may be in need.

Last week, DeGeneres kicked off her annual 12 Days Of Christmas special, and she has been giving away some pretty cool gifts, but this next surprise will bring viewers to tears.
On Monday's show, Franz Walkup and his wife Shannon sat down with the talk show host and they got the surprise of a lifetime.
Ellen DeGeneres Shares Her Holiday Letter
In 2009, Walkup enlisted in the Army to honor his fallen brother who died in Iraq. During Walkup's second tour in Afghanistan, he was shot five times after his team was ambushed by Afghan soldiers.
Walkup spent two months in the ICU, has undergone 78 surgeries and now he needs a wheelchair-accessible home to live in.
The Walkup's need to raise $50,000 to purchase the land needed to build the home and they are $15,000 short, but luckily for them, DeGeneres had a very cool surprise.
The talk show host partnered with her friends at Shutterfly, and they were able to help the family reach the goal of $15,000!
This isn't the only gift DeGeneres is giving this holiday season.
The comedian also surprised two young boys with the best present. In this heartwarming video, which can be seen below, two kids reunite with their father after he was deployed in the Middle East for over a year.
