It looks as though Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are slowly putting their lives back together. After quitting Twitter back in October, the actor returned to his social media account so he can interact with his fans once again.

In October, McDermott engaged in some rather heated arguments with his fans while he tried to defend himself against critics who were slamming him for cheating on his wife. He wrote at the time, "I'm done with this social media s---. To all my fans, you're the best. Love you guys. Always will. To all the haters, you know how I feel."

On Dec. 11, McDermott announced to his fans that he has been sober for one year and has since then been sharing photos of his family and his children.

Did Dean McDermott Cheat On Tori Spelling With Multiple Women?

Meanwhile, it looks like McDermott will be making a triumphant return to the small screen as well. McDermott is going back to his television roots as he landed a guest role in the hit CBS show, CSI.

According to People Magazine on Tuesday, McDermott plays a man on the crime drama who may or may have not killed a family. He plays, "Mr. Fogel," who is described as a creepy character and registered sex offender.

The show's producer Don McGill tells the site, "We're super excited to have Dean on the show. He plays a man with a shady past who is guilty of heinous crimes, but is he guilty of murdering an entire family? Only the CSIs can get to the truth."

Spelling and McDermott have been married since 2006 and have four children together, Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn.
