Leah Messer responded to claims of draining her daughter’s trust fund last night on Twitter.
On Tuesday, the Teen Mom 2 star was accused of taking $50,000 from a fund set up for her disabled daughter, 5-year-old Ali Simms. In a series of recent tweets, Messer denied having taken any money from the child.
“I can’t believe some of these pathetic individuals that hide behind the name of “a source,” Messer wrote on Tuesday, adding, “My girls still have they’re money….It’s just not at the bank your looking at. #crazy.”

On Tuesday afternoon, an In Touch Weekly report surfaced, claiming the mother of three “totally drained” Ali’s trust fund, which included money for college tuition and medical needs.
The magazine claimed Messer’s ex-husband, Corey Simms, the father of Ali, was reportedly “furious” Messer was able to wipe away his child’s future, and was planning to see what he could do to get the money back.
After pointing out that “they’re” should have been “their,” and “your” should have been “you’re,” Messer’s followers expressed concern over Messer having more access to the money than Simms.
“Why was it moved w/o others w/access being told?” one follower asked. Another said, "That account should have been set up where BOTH parents had to sign off."
