'The Originals' Season 2 News: Golden Globe For Joseph Morgan? Critics Make The Case For Klaus & The CW [VIDEO]

Merry Christmas From The Cast Of 'The Originals'
While The CW has received a number of technical nods when it comes to the Emmys and the Golden Globes, the shows themselves seem to get passed over.
Recently E! compiled a list of CW stars who have been overlooked. Alongside big names like Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) from Supernatural and Lauren Graham (Lorelei Gilmore) from Gilmore Girls sat The Originals star Joseph Morgan.
Mikael Might Meet His End On 'The Originals' In 2015
Known for his turn as Klaus Mikaelson on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, Morgan has formed quite a career for himself playing the likable bad guy. E! argued that the UK actor transformed a three-episode storyline as a villain on The Vampire Diaries into a two seasons and counting starring role on his own series.
The 33-year-old CW star got his start with a supporting role in the 2003 Russell Crowe film Master and Commander and went on to star in the genre-bending dramas Armistice and Open Grave in 2013.
Morgan has garnered some success for his portrayal of Klaus, earning a People's Choice Award for the show's first season.
The Originals returns on The CW for the remainder of its second season Monday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
