Derek Jeter, Hannah Davis Engaged: Ex MLB Star Talks Fatherhood Amid Wedding Rumors 'I Look Forward To Be Being A Dad' [VIDEO]
Derek Jeter has resurrected rumors that he and longtime girlfriend Hannah Davis will be tying the knot as he revealed whether he is ready to be a parent.
People magazine caught up with the former MLB All-Star at the annual Turn 2 Holiday Express in New York City Monday.
There he revealed that his 3-year-old nephew Jalen has caused him to think about becoming a father himself.

"Kids nowadays are going to be the leaders of the future, and the leaders for not only Jalen, but my kids one day when I have them. I look forward to being a dad."
Still, Jeter said that looking after Jalen is enough for him right now.
"When you're an uncle, you can get rid of the when you want to get rid of them," he laughed.
He dished on how important is to be around his family during his first holiday season since retiring from baseball.
"For me, the holidays are just about being together as a family - which we still do now. The holiday times are when everyone still feels like a kid, and I still feel that way when we get together. "
Still, while he said that he is looking forward to having some relaxing time after the holidays are over, he failed to mention Davis but rather said he wants to go solo.
"I haven't had a summer vacation since I was 11. So I'm going to go and hide by myself somewhere."
