Duff and Comrie appeared as a parental unit and in good spirits on Tuesday when they were seen taking son Luca to meet Santa Clause, Daily Mail reported.
The family of three were seen walking around an outdoor mall before they stopped by Santa's house to let Luca make some Christmas wishes.
Duff wore a casual grey v-neck t-shirt with dark enim skinny jeans a pair of brown booties. She finished off her lookwith a large handbag and a pair of tan aviator sunglasses. Comrie wore a long-sleeve chambray over a white t-shirt with dark pants and black Vans sneakers. The pair's son wore a red and white checkered shirt, tan pants and black shoes.
In an interview with Health Duff admitted that the two still love each other.
"We have a two-year-old together. We love each other. Obviously it wasn't a rash decision that we made. We really are just trying to figure out how we are the most happy -- whether together or apart -- and we're doing it as lovingly as possible," Duff said.
And to top it all off, it seems that coming together on Christmas isn't going to be a rarity between the two.
"We would hang out without Luca; we think it's important to keep a strong relationship no matter if we're married or not married. And we love our son. We both want to fight for happiness."
