Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert News: Country Singers Ditching Social Media For The Holidays? [VIDEO]
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert spend a lot of time on social media, but this week the couple signed off to spend some quality time together.

Typically Shelton has a very active Twitter account. He spends a great deal of time interacting with fans, promoting Bringing Back The Sunshine, and discussing NBC's The Voice. On Dec. 22, however, the country star told fans to "get the hell off Twitter" and hasn't been active on the social media site since.
It looks like he's following his own advice, and so is his wife. Lambert has been equally inactive on Instagram over the last week. She hasn't posted much since she boasted some "bonding time" with her horses on Dec. 22 and drinks with her family on Dec. 27 at Leo's Asian Bistro.
While the country couple may not be updating fans as to what they've been doing for the holidays until January, Shelton did reveal his and Lambert's big Christmas plans during an interview with Extra on Dec. 9.
"The actual wrapping of the presents, that's something that Miranda and I make a point that we do," explained the Neon Light singer, though admitted that really his wife is the one to do most of the wrapping.
"She does it and I mix her drinks while she's doing it… alcohol is always in high demand around my house," added Shelton jokingly.
With Christmas over, there will be no more presents to wrap, but Shelton and Lambert are probably spending their time off social media drinking and enjoying the piece and quiet that comes with being alone in their own home.
Both Shelton and Lambert will resume touring in 2015.
