On Sunday, Belfast Telegraph reported what one-fifth, Lauren Jauregui, said to the United Kingdom's Very magazine about Cowell and the guys of One Direction.

The girls have successfully impacted the market in the United States and now they've been branching out across the pond and Cowell is backing them completely.

Their first single, BO$$, off of their soon-to-be released debut album Reflection is out now in the United Kingdom. They were over there earlier this month and even performed on The X Factor.

Their performance was flawless and the fans in the audience gave the American girl group a standing ovation.

"He is so supportive and he is always so involved in the project," Jauregui said of Cowell.

"He's so excited about it and it's a really good feeling to have someone like that in your corner, as he's so influential and good at what he does," she further shared.

Fifth Harmony has the potential to be as big as One Direction since the two acts are so similar. They were both put together on their respective versions of The X Factor after being turned away as solo artists and each have found success since Cowell has signed them to Syco.

Jauregui revealed the guys of One Direction are "cool and down to earth," noting it's "really nice to see."

She even revealed the advice Liam Payne gave her and her bandmates. "Liam once said to just make sure that you know that each other is what you have. So it's the five of us against the world pretty much," she stated.
