Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Divorce: Singer's Husband Doesn't Mind Being Labeled As 'The Bad Guy' Amid Rumors He Was Going To Diss His Wife In New Album [VIDEO]
It sounds like Nick Cannon has reached a point where he doesn't care what anyone has to say about him.
Has Mariah Carey Moved On From Nick Cannon?
On Monday, the TV personality took to his Twitter page to comment on a rumor that he was going to diss his wife Mariah Carey in new music. He posted several tweets that day on how this isn't true where he finished with a post on how he doesn't mind if others put him in a negative light.
"I have no problem being painted as the bad guy. I got tough skin. Keep going! I just pray we ALL can move forward in the new year," Cannon wrote.
Nick Cannon Admits That He & Mariah Carey Still Keep In Contact
Prior to this tweet, he posted a quote on how other peoples' opinions don't matter.
"'What others thing about me is really none of my business,'" he wrote.
This situation apparently started from a TMZ story when producer Mally Mall mentioned that Cannon would talk about his pop star wife on the album, saying there would be a lot of "controversy." This led to the media wondering if Cannon was going to have nasty things to say about Carey, but the America's Got Talent host made it clear that that will never happen.
"I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey We are forever a family and rooted in love," he tweeted.
He then added, "I am always an open book but Personal matters are just that 'Personal.' So please respect my family and respect the process."
