Neil Patrick Harris is mourning the loss of his grandmother who passed away on Christmas night.

The actor and Broadway star, 41, shared a photo of his grandmother’s "In Loving Memory" card on Instagram on Tuesday along with a loving caption.

“My grandma passed away on Thursday night, services are today. Martha Jeanne Harris was 92, lived a long, lovely life. We shared a birthday, 6/15. She'll be missed,” Harris wrote.

Martha Jeanne is survived by five other grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Harris’ loss comes in the midst of the holiday season, which he’s been spending with husband David Burtka and their 4-year-old twins, Gideon and Harper. The night before his grandmother's death, the How I Met Your Mother actor shared a photo of their children enjoying a big dinner on Christmas Eve.

“Christmas Eve dinner at Babbo. Traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes. Delicious! Gideon and Harper are in holiday heaven. Thanks, Mario. #joy,” wrote Harris, who will host the 87th annual Academy Awards on Feb. 22.
