Chris Brown was scheduled to bring in the New Year in the Philippines with several other performers, but not anymore. The 25-year-old cancelled his New Year’s Eve concert in Manila just hours before it was to take place because he reportedly lost his passport.

“#TeamBreezyManila! Due to unfortunate circumstances I can’t bring in the new year with you,” he wrote on Twitter. “Too bad since the Philippines Arena is one of the best arenas in the world! Stay tuned Team Breezy!!!!”
Brown, who was expected to perform at the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena, added, “#TeamBreezyManila I'll see you in spring!”
Chris Brown Opens Up About 'Remorse' Over His Past
The concert organizers, Maligaya Development Corp., explained that Brown’s representatives told them on Wednesday he hadn’t left Los Angeles.
"According to them, Chris Brown lost his passport the day before the scheduled event," a statement from the company reads. "Hence despite having entered into a contract with us, Chris Brown would not be able to comply with his obligation to perform."
