Celebrities On The Train: Katy Perry Rides New York City Subway Before Having #BestNightEver With Rita Ora [PHOTOS]
Before heading to the luxurious Top of the Standard to ring in the New Year in New York City, Katy Perry was riding the subway just like most New Yorkers.
The multi-platinum singer and several of her friends took the A train as they headed to a party hosted by singer Rita Ora. Perry, 30, shared a photo on Instagram of her subway adventure along with the caption, “A train squad game strongé.”
Perry spent the rest of the night partying in the Meatpacking District while wearing a sparkly Givenchy dress. Ora, who sported a Gabriela Cadena gown to the black-tie event, shared two photos on Instagram with the pop star, including the one above which she captioned with a heart emoji.
The day after the extravagant party night, Ora declared it the “#BestnightEVERR” via social media.
As for Perry, she seemed eager for 2015, tweeting, “Happy New Year. I love a fresh start.”
