A recent report revealed that fan's have much to look forward to following Oliver's (Stephen Amell) death, as the upcoming three episodes of Arrow are among the best, according to showrunner Marc Guggenheim.

The executive producer of the CW series told TVLine that the three episodes that will open the next season of the show, "are among the best we've ever done. They're incredibly compelling."

Previously, even Amell has suggested that the show will only get better and fans have much to look forward to.

Following the death of Oliver, Amell took to Facebook to allay fans' concerns about the future of the show and what they can expect from the rest of season 3.

His post was reassuring for fans who seemed to be very dismayed by Oliver's sudden death, and Amell also promised them that the series would only impress them.

Here's his post:

"Facebook. Thank you so much for the enthusiasm spilling out of tonight's fall finale. I've never had anywhere near this amount of feedback.

"Despite the title, our show is bigger than any one character. We're going to prove that to you. Sit tight... January will be here in no time."

In the promo for the upcoming episode, which is also the mid-season premiere of the series, somebody is heard saying Oliver is dead, as the camera pans atop the mountain top, where the duel between Ghul and Oliver took place, showing Oliver's limp body on a rock. That's about all the preview gives away about what fans can expect from the next episode, titled Left Behind, which is to air on January 21.

It has also been revealed that Count Vertigo (Peter Stormare) will be returning in Left Behind.
