Many fans responded to her tweet saying that they are "glad to hear" she's feeling better after weeks of illness.
In late December, the 58-year-old opened up about her allergic reaction to medication prescribed by her doctor to cure a sinus infection. The actress, who has played Nikki Newman on the CBS soap opera since 1981, said she missed weeks of work as she attempted to recover. The star said medical alternatives, like acupuncture and changing her diet to consist of only organic food, helped her recuperate.
"Am thankful that I have gained enough strength 2 B back at work.The recovery has been slow, but improving. Not a secret," she tweeted on Dec. 14. "I'm actually looking 4 more ppl who have suffered w/ this same reaction. These meds should not B available to public. Very serious side effects."
