To better fit the role of her stripper role in Frank Miller's "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For," Jessica Alba changed her hair from brown to blonde. Fortunately for her many admirers, the 31-year-old took to Twitter to showcase the time consuming process she had endured in order to make the transition into her Nancy Callahan character.

The sexy actress had tweeted several pics and a video bidding adieu to her brown locks on Aug. 23rd.

"Bye bye brown hair. I'm documenting my hair to Sin City blonde!"

Celebrity hair stylist Robert Ramos of Estil Salon was the man behind the mane. His high-profile clients also include Rachel McAdams, Eva Mendes and Julianne Moore, amongst others.

Upon posting the first of the photos from the Los Angeles Salon, Jessica posted the following via Twitter on Aug. 25th:

"Stage 1 -ok doesn't look that different but it's a process."

When the hairy switch was complete, Alba had then posted the following message on the same day:

"She got roots that Nancy."

Earlier during that day at Nate 'N' Al's deli in Beverly Hills, Alba was seen alongside hubby Cash Warren and their daughters Honor, 4, and Haven, 1.

Frank Miller's "Sin City" sequel is set for release in October 2013. The highly-anticipated film also stars Mickey Rourke, Michael Madsen, and Devon Aoki.
