Terra Jole Pregnant: 'Little Women: LA' Star Says Her Baby May Not Survive, Could Have Double Dominant Gene [VIDEO]
Terra Jole was faced with a tough decision after learning she and boyfriend Joe Gnoffo were expecting.
After her pregnancy was revealed on the second season premiere of Little Women: LA, Jole opened up about the moment she learned her child may not survive, and the decision she was forced to make.
"With everything that Joe and I went through, our doctor is currently telling us there's a chance the child may not survive — whether it be two years, maybe five years — but eventually the child won't survive," Jole told SheKnows on Friday. "I never knew that, because I thought since he and I were different types of dwarfism that we would be safe. So this is a whole new piece of information that I'm finding out, and it's really scary."
During the trailer for Little Women: LA, which was released several weeks ago, fans were teased with a pregnancy. On episode one, they found out it was Jole, who was expecting. After her co-stars discovered the news, there was shock, tears and disbelief.
Now, six months pregnant with her child, Jole is staying positive, despite her child's tragic diagnosis.
"It was like, do I have the child and then wait and say, 'Oh, it lived to be 5, it had a good life.' Or do I say, 'I need to no longer have this child.' And then, even that, there's a 75 percent chance that it won't have the double dominant," she explained. "So it was a really trying moment for us to find this information out because we both didn't realize that was even in the equation, and now we're told it's a possibility."
