Katy Perry announced that rocker Lenny Kravitz will join her at the Super Bowl halftime show in Feb. 1.

The pop star - whose news was revealed in an interview which aired on NBC during the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots game on Saturday - called Kravitz a “rock and roll icon” and “a guitar god.”
"He's got so much style. He's the coolest. He's the king of cool," she added. "He's going to make me so much cooler that day."

Perry's full interview about her Super Bowl performance will air on NBC's Today show on Monday.

Perry confirmed that she'd perform at the Super Bowl in November tweeting, "Yeppers! And I've already started testing out ideas!"
The Roar singer also shared a "Hyped for Halftime" promo video on Pepsi's YouTube page which shows her "insane ideas" for the show, like having edible glitter.
