Usually seen by her side on the red carpet, Stone didn't bring Garfield to the Golden Globes, but opted to bring along her brother, Spencer Stone, instead reported E! News on Sunday.
Ryan Seacrest interviewed the two for E!'s Live from the Red Carpet. He first welcomed the actress with a gift of a Birdman t-shirt.

Spencer Stone told Seacrest this was his very first time at the Golden Globes before he ended up taking Emma Stone's gift from her and putting it in his pocket.
Emma Stone was wearing a jumpsuit that had sequins on top and a giant bow on the back. After she was "glam cammed" Spencer Stone took the spotlight with his look.
"This is your first Golden Globes? Come on. I don't buy that," said Seacrest as Stone posed for the camera in his grey suit. He wore a striped shirt underneath and a yellow tie.
When Seacrest asked Stone if she should be on Broadway and not at the Globes her response was: "Probably. Don't tell them where I am."
"No, they actually cancelled the Sunday show because Alan Cumming is nominated for a Globe too. So we are going to have some fun at the Globes," she continued.
