Early Wednesday, Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing: Jump Out for Nintendo 3DS can be expect on November 8 in Japan. They failed to mention a release date for North America. However, Nintendo of America reported later on Wednesday that Animal Crossing can be expected during the first half of 2013.

"Animal Crossing is launching for Nintendo #3DS during the first half of 2013!," Nintendo of America confirmed on Twitter.

Animal Crossing for Nintendo 3DS will feature several new additions. The Examiner reports the following list for what to expect in 2013.

  • - First Mr. Resetti appearance
  • - Booker has his own lost and found shop
  • - Players decide what shops to build
  • - Players decide when shops open
  • - Can exchange designs via QR Codes
  • - Furniture colors can be changed

Games including "Fire Emblem" and "Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon" can also be expected in early 2013. However, Nintendo of America also announced that "Brain Age: Concentration Training" can be expected on December 3.
